so earlier today I dropped into the pool for my second swim, as I'm not going to press anything I just did another mile warmup swim basicly and concentrate on swimming the 4 strokes properly, although their is always the wanna be in the high riding speedo's who likes to thrash around for a few laps like he's a champion swimmer in the other lane, I prefer to concentrate on getting my endurance and swimming back good before I drop the hammer on some serious workouts...
Hello all, as I have blogged before and enjoyed sharing my experiences I have decided to share this experience, this will be a daily blog about my attempt to lose 50 lbs. I'm currently at 260 lbs, well over a healthy weight for a 6 foot tall 40 year old man. Fortunately I have a background in swimming, like 7 miles a day when I was a kid, so I intend to use my knowledge of swimming and the knowledge I gained about how to eat back then to help me accomplish my goal. Though my first step in this progress was to announce on the facebook which I will from now on refer to as the deal, that I have become a vegan, this is true to the fact that I am eating salmon with my salads for protein and the energy it brings and I will not deny myself of critical foods when needed to fuel my system, but I am maintaining a diet based on fruit n vegtables first. So lets get started...
